People Who Can't Take a Joke

Oh hey, Anonymous. Sorry you don't have a sense of humor, or a sense of courage. I'm sorry to hear that "karma like me is a real bitch," too. Next time, log into Blogger and run a grammar check. Oh, and figure out the "submit" button so you don't have to post your comment fifteen separate times on four posts. I'd teach you how, but I guess I'm too busy being afraid of having children.

It's alive!!!!!
awww, don't listen to them. it's probably the mom of amalgam justice or she just signed the birth certificate for mercury sappho and is having regrets. you're too funny to listen to that, and your only fault is that you don't post enough. but even that's ok cause when you do it's pure gold. also don't be afraid to have children, i can't wait to see what you name them!
Wow, I think they may be the bitter one. I'm pretty sure you've pointed out before you're not making fun of children, just the silly parents who name them!
Oh my. Well, karma sure is a bitch like you, because for every hater you earn, a new fan comes along to replace them. I just found your site today and I am already madly in love with it. Like yourself I am childless (and likely not having any for a few years!) and I simply have an odd fascination (also bordering on the morbid curiosity of train-wreck-watching syndrome) for names. You, my friend, are hilarious. Your comments are far from being "a waste of space" - your well-written barbs are fast becoming a delightfully guilty pleasure. So take that, anonymous!
Keep on rockin' TurabianNights.
I really wonder what "karma" is going to do to you when you have children. Force you to name them Jacolby Rock and Zandriegh Macyn?
Wow... someones really insecure about themselves. Must've realized they named their baby some completely ridiculous name. Okay, so I'd have to say you're one of the lucky ones that doesn't like stupid names. I'm sick of people naming their kids Mercedes, Porche, and crap like that. Thank goodness there's somebody else out there who feels this way.
I just found this, and it's pretty funny. I always wonder about people who go out of their way to write mean retorts to blogs on the internet. It's like reading the comments on youtube. Sad and painful.
I just started reading through today, it makes me laugh a lot that usually leads to not breathing for periods of time.
for me a parent who name wierd names for there babies are just natural. but only the children do is to be greatful of what they have.the first name i have is im realy proud of it but some people they wont like there names because they are not contented enough....and also i believe in "karma" a person doesn't pay attention for the other person or just enjoying themself while the person they owes are in a bad situation and they just sit there and doesnt care the person help him but he doesn't pay what he owes and for me that's a karma..
What? Your name is im? Or is?
Oh my! Someone needs a bit of a grammar lesson before anyone will every take them seriously.
I enjoy your site. I believe you are setting your child up for future difficulties if you give them a strange or un-spellable name. It's not about you and your creativity. It's about them and making sure they succeed in life. I do have to wonder, after reading this blog, why so few people can punctuate, capitalize, or think we morphadites can read text messaging abbreviations. I still don't think they are acceptable in real life.
Love,
A Ma-Ham (alt. spelling of Mom)that named her child a simple, beautiful name ... Timothy!
P.S. Wouldn't this word verification be a great name, "Unganans"?
How come I can never rile anyone up enough to get a comment like that!
I love this site.
Ha hah hah, someone apparently found their name on this site ... so sad.
I like the blog, despite the fact that I clearly have a weird name (Minta.) I've never been made fun of about it, and I'm actually pretty proud of it. I totally enjoy the poking fun at names that you do, even though I'll probably name my kids something weird ;).
I just wanted to comment that I found your site after my husband and I were looking up the name Valkyrie for our daughter. I found the site and what you said about the name and I died laughing. Even despite this blog, we still have the name in rotation - as well as Wednesday, Magnolia, and Derby. Well I think Derby is out. I hope it is. It's my husband's choice.
I digress though. I wanted to say that I love your site and though you probably won't read this old comment. Thank you :) This has been a tough pregnancy and I needed a laugh!
Bridging the gap between generally knowing and really knowing all about compactdishwasher.org is what this article is about.
put greg and keith on the list...horrible names
sorry if your name is, but its just an ugly name.
p.s also helga is one.
Jeez, who lit her tampon on fire?
I'm assuming that this anonymous comment was from a woman. It's just the impression it gives me.
If she didn't enjoy the blog, why did she waste her time reading it? I'm sure she has some children to name after food products.
Strange.
Struck a nerve or what?!!! Does she think that pointing out how ridiculous these names are is making more fun of children than actually saddling them with the name?
My word verification is viinob - don't think that would sit well on anyone.
I love your blog.
