I don't hate babies. I don't even hate parents. I just wish parents would realize what enormous power they have over the rest of their children's lives when they give them a name. I wish parents would realize that kids grow up. Just because a parent likes the name Dymondlyn Shardonnae DaiseeBlossom or Dakoda Hunter Truck'Killah doesn't mean that it's a good name for a kid. Kids aren't accessories. If you want something with a cool name, buy a dog or a boat or some crap like that.

with literacy and justice for all

Poster 1: My nephew wants us to name the baby Liberty if it is a girl. I actually kinda like it! But I do not think it goes with Isabelle super well, like Justice or something free-spirited, lol. I still like other names better, but it is fun to play around with ideas. What are your thoughts in Liberty?

Poster 2: What about soem tradional name as a 1st and that as a middle. Since Belles is tradional or to me it is id think something along the same lines would be fitting.

Poster 1: like Liberty more and mroe each day, though I still like some of my traditional A names I posted about before that go wellw ith Belle.

Anonymous said...: My mom was due to have me on July 2...hoping to be two days late and have a 4th of July baby she settled on the name Libery Belle. Thankfully I was 4 days late and hung in there until the 6th. I believe maybe I heard news of the name and refused to come out :-) I was even joked on the thought that I might have been named that for a brief time during grade school.
